Profound Material Innovation
A building with the theme of composites

Composites are the future materials and will significantly impact many aspects of our lives. Hankuk Carbon Innovation Incubation Center's façade design resembles the weaving process of a high-quality composite fabric, and the canopy symbolizes a lightweight and thin composite panel. It portrays the brand's commitment to producing excellent materials and parts.

Various materials have been internally developed and utilized to create harmony between the building's function and the aesthetic appeal. The initial idea was to use all the materials available for architecture, contributing to a distinct identity of the building.

In 2025, it won in the architecture, environments, and facade design categories at all three world major design awards: Red Dot, iF, and IDEA.

A premium brand producing high-quality materials

Hankuk Carbon sets itself apart from other composites companies by offering Multifunctional Solution based on our experience since 1984, producing high-quality materials and parts. The façade's firm fabric pattern gradually intersects as it descends, emphasizing Hankuk Carbon's premium brand identity.

We aim to elevate our brand's premium value by collaborating with the recognized French architect who has designed numerous luxury flagship stores.

Making a contribution towards a brighter future

Hankuk Carbon Innovation Incubation Center embraces sustainable architectural design, practicing Hankuk Carbon's environmental management philosophy. In November 2023, it received the green building certification G-SEED for reducing ecological load.

The building has achieved harmony with nature by applying low-carbon green materials and high-efficiency renewable energy systems. The façade features GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) panels that enhance insulation, and the use of triple-glazed Low-E glass reduces the cooling and heating load, minimizing greenhouse gas emissions while contributing to a comfortable indoor atmosphere.
