The solvent method involves dissolving the epoxy resin in a solvent bath, which allows the epoxy resin and the curing agent to mix. Hankuk Carbon has developed epoxy and phenolic prepreg resin systems contributing to weight reduction, fire resistance, and durability.
Our solutions are suitable for aerospace, rail and electronics, and we produce a wide range of coated products using thermosetting and thermoplastic resin.

Prepreg is an intermediate material for high-strength composites made by impregnating reinforcing materials like carbon, glass, and aramid fiber with a specially formulated epoxy resin (Matrix). It is known for its high strength, modulus, and lightweight characteristics, widely applied in fields that require high-performance materials, such as sports & leisure, aerospace, automotive, and robotics. Hankuk Carbon provides customers with tailor-made prepregs that meet their specific requirements, satisfying different applications and desired properties and enabling efficient designs and production of composite structures.
