Sustainable Management System for Hankuk Carbon's Supply Chain

Hankuk Carbon is implementing an open-source system where potential partners can suggest items for trades. Before selecting suppliers, we conduct comprehensive evaluations, considering aspects such as social responsibility and sustainable management. Furthermore, we regularly evaluate our existing suppliers throughout the year to ensure they remain reliable trade partners, and we take appropriate follow-up actions based on the results.

    If any company wishes to carry out a transaction with Hankuk Carbon, they can contact our purchase team through our public email address (hc15100@hcarbon.com) and file an application for trade request. Our team will assess the request and check all the details provided in the form. They will proceed with an assessment only if the required information and partner details are included in the application.

    New Partner Assessment and Selection
    There are two stages in the assessment process: document screening and assessment visits to evaluate social responsibilities and sustainable management.

    Regular Assessment for Suppliers (Yearly based)
    By conducting regular assessments of suppliers, we incentivize and provide strategic support to exemplary partners while inducing improvement for underachievers to enhance Hankuk Carbon's competitiveness and promote shared growth.

Codes of Conduct for Hankuk Carbon's Partners

Hankuk Carbon has established a code of conduct for its partners, which outlines the ethical standards that they must follow. The code requires that partners provide safe working conditions, respect employees' human rights, and take responsibility for the environment. If necessary, Hankuk Carbon may change this code, but they will announce any changes on their website in advance. To ensure compliance with the code, Hankuk Carbon or external auditors may request a physical visit to the partner's premises and make improvements as needed.

Policy on Counterfeiting and Fraudulent Activities

Falsification and Fraud

Hankuk Carbon shall not conduct any falsification and fraudulent activities that arbitrarily modify data to be submitted to customers, and, for any cases in point found, absorb company-wide and individual-level legal liability and disadvantage from it.

What is Fraudulent Activity?

Deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, intentionally perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage. This includes but is not limited to falsification of information, intentional omission, false pretenses, and deliberate misuse of qualified resources or certification/qualification/authorization.
